Treffer: Power secretary.
Weitere Informationen
The article reports on Power Secretary, a personal dictation system based on voice input to printed word application. This is a free-form speech dictation system to enter text into a Mac word processing application, and control what the system is doing, also by spoken words. Dictation at up to 45 words a minute is claimed by distributors Responsive Systems though they do suggest learning to insert slight pauses between one's words when reeling off sentences which come easily to mind. The system has a 120,000 word vocabulary and learns the user's speech patterns as experience of that user increases. Once the word storage space starts running out, the system makes more by deleting the least used word of the existing vocabulary. When it misunderstands a word, the user can ask it to display other choices for that word and when the proper choice is selected the system remembers what sound produced it to avoid making the same mistake again.
