The article describes the development of the web-based integrated sensor-driven e-ShopFloor framework. The collaborative framework is designed to use the popular client-server architecture and View-Control-Model design pattern with secure session control. The following are proposed to meet user requirements: use of interactive scene graph-based Java 3D models; transmission of sensor data and control commands between models and devices; use of user-friendly graphical interfaces for shop floor navigation; and deployment of control logics in an application server.
