Treffer: Evaluating the current status in Petroleum Engineering and Development Company as a learning organization in terms of the "knowledge management" based on the model of (SLOM).

Background: Nowadays, information and knowledge have found their place in the global economy and alongside capital and labor, are considered as production assets and value creation. Objective: The present study is performed in order to evaluating the current status in Petroleum Engineering and Development Company as a learning organization in terms of the "knowledge management". Results: The population of the study is consisted of 80 educated staff of (MSc and PhD), simple random sampling was used and sample volume was determined 66 individuals based on the Morgan Table. The method of present study is applied, descriptive/ survey type. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire and its validity has confirmed the content validity and its reliability by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0/93. Conclusion: The collected data were analyzed by Spss software that was used in the context of descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Binomial test analysis indicates that the present condition of Petroleum Engineering and Development Company in terms of "knowledge management" is based on the systematic model of a learning organization.
