In the pursuit of sustainable urban waste management, this study explores the implementation and environmental impact of a Glass Consignment Policy, leveraging digital marketing strategies to foster community adherence to sustainable practices. Our research focuses on how digital influence strategies can drive the adoption of glass consignment policies, promoting reuse and recycling, reducing the need for new containers, and minimising natural resource wastage. This aims to lower the city's carbon footprint and cultivate environmentally conscious citizenship. We present five structured sections, starting with an analytical framework employing mathematical optimisation techniques for efficient consignment logistics planning. We introduce an innovative registration process using a Python Tkinter-based form with QR code scanning, simplifying citizen engagement. A real-time database ensures accurate data availability for system optimisation. Strategic node identification amplifies system influence, and comprehensive dashboards monitor system performance, tracking trends and supporting data-driven policy adjustments. Through this approach, our research highlights the transformative potential of integrating digital influence with traditional consignment policies for a more sustainable urban waste management model.
