The article discusses how to use the free profiling tool from the Eclipse Test and Performance Tools Platform (TPTP) project to profile an application running in WebSphere Application Server for z/OS. The different profiling types provided by the TPTP profiler are code coverage, which analyzes the application Method Coverage; memory analysis, which analyzes the application heap; and the time analysis, which analyzes the application execution time.
