Abstract: The integration of algorithm animations into hypertext is seen as an important topic today. This paper will present a prototype algorithm animation viewer implemented purely using HTML and JavaScript. The viewer is capable of viewing animations in Xaal (eXtensible Algorithm Animation Language). This solution is extremely suitable to be used in hypertext learning material. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
