An integral involving a generalized Legendre function and an \(H\)-function of several variables is evaluated. The single variable of integration appears as certain multiples of the variables in the multivariable \(H\)- function. The result is given as multiple series of \(H\)-functions of several variables. By using this result an expansion formula for an \(H\)- function of several variables is obtained. A particular case is shown to agree with known results.
