Using the summation formula \[ \sum_{r=0}^ M{q^{r^ 2} z^ r (q;q)_ M\over (q;q)_ r (zq;q)_ r (q;q)_{M-r}} =\;{1\over {(zq;q)_ M}} , \] the authors have given the three expansion formulae for the multiple basic hypergeometric functions of several variables. The results are very lengthy in nature. Also in the bibliography some of the references are unnecessarily given.
