Further Information

A complete survey of well-known transformation formulas for the basic hypergeometric series has been presented. The authors start with the function \(_1 \phi_0\), make use of \(q\)-binomial theorem and series manipulation techniques to arrive at their results. A few new results thus obtained make the survey interesting.
