Summary: The object of this paper is to solve an integral equation of convolution from having the Kampé de Fériet function as its kernel. It generalizes the result given by \textit{V. C. Nair} [Riv. Mat. Univ. Parma, IV. Ser. 1(1975), 9--15 (1977; Zbl 0344.45002), pp. 13, 14]. A few other special cases are also given.
