Further Information

The authors have studied several addition formulas for \(q\)-Legendre-type functions. Use of known product formulas of Askey-Wilson and \(q\)-Racah polynomials has been made, unlike the group-theoretic methods employed earlier by Koelink. The results are too complicated to be quoted here.
