In today's digital era, the integration of advanced technologies into the educational process has proven to be a highly effective tool for enhancing learning. This innovative project aims to utilize video games as a medium for teaching complex concepts, specifically focusing on the construction of an airport runway. The project consists of two main components: a video game developed in Unreal Engine and a website built with Flutter, supported by a backend in TypeScript using Node.js and Express, and a MongoDB database. The video game is designed to provide an autonomous learning experience for students who find the subject challenging. It includes two levels: an initial level for mastering theoretical knowledge and a subsequent level that simulates the construction of the airport. This approach not only facilitates understanding of the steps and techniques involved, but also offers a secure platform for practice and experimentation. The website serves as a complementary portal where users can track the progress of their peers and, in future implementations, can be used to modify the initial conditions of the game. Throughout this work, the theoretical foundations of gamification and its application in education will be explored, the detailed development process of the game and the website will be provided, and the effectiveness of the educational solution will be evaluated. The goal is to showcase new ways to apply and teach knowledge, providing interactive and engaging tools.
