This release contains the official source code and data supporting the manuscript, "Process-Based Simulation of Soybean Rust in Brazil: A DSSAT-Coupled Approach". The code implements a mechanistic epidemiological model, adapted to represent the life cycle of Phakopsora pachyrhizi , which has been coupled with the CROPGRO-Soybean model within the DSSAT v4.8.2 framework. This repository includes the Fortran source files (DISEASE.for) , the experimental disease progress data from 12 trials in Southern and Central Brazil used for calibration and validation , and the Python scripts used to perform the Morris sensitivity analysis. The model was parameterized using a two-step Monte Carlo method and validated via a leave-one-out cross-validation scheme. The results demonstrate that a regional parameterization is essential for accurately simulating Asian Soybean Rust dynamics in Brazil's diverse climates , providing a robust framework for representing host-pathogen interactions.
