Treffer: Dataset for 'A probabilistic social vulnerability index to assess spatio-temporal vulnerability dynamics using Bayesian machine learning'

This dataset supports the manuscript "A probabilistic social vulnerability index to assess spatio-temporal vulnerability dynamics using Bayesian machine learning" by Chakraborty et al. (2025), currently under review. It includes geospatial data layers (shapefiles), socioeconomic indicators, and racial/ethnic variables used to construct a probabilistic social vulnerability index through Bayesian Machine Learning and Monte Carlo simulation. Data processing and analysis were conducted using GIS and Python. Upon acceptance of the manuscript, the repository will be updated with Python scripts and additional documentation. This dataset is intended for use in disaster risk reduction, dynamic social vulnerability analysis, probabilistic risk assessment, and environmental justice research.
