The Slovak anoikonyms (minor place names) are recently being processed in the Ľ. Štúr Institute of Linguistics Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava by conception created at the Department of Dialectology in the Institute of Czech Language of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Brno, where The Dictionary of Moravian and Silesian Anoikonyms are also being processed. Bratislava focuses preferentially on creating a digital database and, at the same time, also on compiling a digital and a classical form of dictionary, which is based on appellative and proprial lexis and on its occurrence in place names. Digital database and structure of a dictionary entry is the same as in the case of The Dictionary of Moravian and Silesian Anoikonyms, but some parts of a dictionary entry are compiled in accordance with individual principles. For example, there is a higher level of abstraction of headwords.
