Primarni cilj ovog završnog rada bio je detaljno upoznavanje programskog jezika Rust. U prvom dijelu rada opisana je povijest programskog jezika, njegova svojstva, popularnost i primjena jezika. Nakon detaljnog objašnjenja karakteristika programskog jezika Rust, u drugom poglavlju provedena je usporedba s programskim jezicima Python, Java, Go i C#. Napravljena je analiza prednosti i nedostataka korištenja Rust-a u odnosu na prethodno navedene jezike. U posljednjem dijelu završnog rada demonstriran je rad u jeziku Rust, uz usporedbu s radom u jeziku C++. Konačno, na temelju jednog cjelovitog programa uspoređene su performanse dvaju jezika. ; The primary goal of this thesis paper was a detailed introduction to the Rust programming language. The first part of the paper describes the history of the programming language, its properties, popularity and application of the language. After a detailed explanation of the characteristics of the programming language Rust, in the second chapter a comparison was made with the programming languages Python, Java, Go and C#. An analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of using Rust compared to the previously mentioned languages was made. In the last part of the thesis paper, working in the Rust language was demonstrated, with a comparison to working in the C++ language. Finally, based on one complete program, the performances of the two languages were compared. ; The primary objective of this final work was to familiarise the programme language Rust in detail. The first part of the work describes the history of the programming language, its characteristics, its popularity and the use of languages. After a detailed explanation of the characteristics of the programming language Rust, a comparison was made in Chapter 2 with the programming languages Python, Java, Go and C#. An analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of using Rust has been carried out in relation to the languages mentioned above.
