VERA (Video Emotion Response Analysis) is an advanced software platform designed to integrate users' emotional reactions to multimedia video stimulations. Thanks to an intuitive and modular interface, VERA allows users to observe any video content, manage controlled viewing sessions, and simultaneously record audio, video, and subjective statements by participants. VERA was created to offer a flexible and comprehensive tool that combines the richness of multimodal data with a user-friendly interface. Real-time Audio/Video Recording: Record facial expressions, movements, and sounds using the participant's webcam and built-in microphoneounds. Emotion Annotation: During viewing, users can report the emotion they felt (joy, sadness, surprise, etc.) via quick buttons or intensity scales, accompanying their choices with comments and text ratings. Live Monitoring Dashboard: A real-time view of user responses is available to the researcher, with emotion trend graphs and an interactive timeline that highlights reaction peaks. Post-session Analysis: Automatic PDF or HTML reports with aggregate statistics, aggregated views by emotion and time intervals, facial expression heatmaps and word clouds of comments.
