Majority of Java Applet graphical user interfaces (GUIs) are utilized to construct user- friendly interactive dynamic web pages that overcome issues regarding differences in computer platforms. In the conventional method, creating a Java Applet GUI is time consuming since it requires debugging and modifying the Java programs. Therefore, for creating a GUI-based Java Applet, this paper proposes an automatic generating system that is also a GUI based Java application. In this process, a minimum set of GUI components are selected to construct a diagnostic type expert system (using Java Applet) that helps to create a significant portion of this GUI-based interactive system using Java Applet. ; departmental bulletin paper
