Bakalářská práce přibližuje čtenáři možnosti využití softwaru Mathematica v geografii. Hlavním cílem bylo ukázat, že původně matematický software mohou využít jak geografové, tak dokonce i studenti během výuky zeměpisu na školách. V první části práce se čtenář seznamuje se základními pojmy geografie a kartografie společně s jejich historickými kontexty. Druhá část je věnována samotnému programu Mathematica. Probírán je zde programovací jazyk, důležité části programu a historicky důležité momenty, které nepomohly jeho vývoji. Praktická část ukazuje využití softwaru na příkladech pro geografy nebo pro vyučující a žáky na školách, kdy některé příklady dokazují propojení mezi matematikou a geografií. ; Obhájeno ; The Bachelor thesis approaches usage options of a software Mathematica in Geography to the reader. The main aim was to show, that originally a mathematical software can be used by geographers or even by students during geography lessons at schools. In the first part of the thesis the reader becomes acquainted with the basic concept of geography and cartography together with their historical contexts. The second part is dedicated to the program Mathematica itself. There are discussed programming language, important parts of the program and historicaly important moments, which helped to its development. The practical part shows the use of software on the examples for geographers or for teachers at schools, when some examples show the connection between mathematics and geography.
