Treffer: Apport des données du radar-imageur SIR.C pour la reconnaissance des formations de surface en Tunisie présaharienne ; GEOFCAN : actes du 2ème colloque de géophysique des sols et des formations superficielles : résumés étendus
Weitere Informationen
The ability of the multi-frequence and multi-polarimetric SIR-C data, in surface and subsurface formations study, has been tested over three sites selected in Presaharian Tunisia : El Borma, Chott Gharsa, and Chott Fedjej. The datatakes cover 100 km x 30 x 50 km with C band (5.3 GHz, 6 cm wavelength) and L band (1.25 GHz, 24 cm). Over each site, the enhanced images of respective polarizations HH, HV, HV-HH of L and C bands have been analysed, combined in color-composite sets, and compared with available maps, SPOT and LANDSAT data and field investigations. Preliminary results provide information on interest of SAR multiple frequency and polarimetry in portraying types of surfaces and subsurface units. The detectability of these features hidden many times by eolian sand is dependent on radar frequency. (Résumé d'auteur)
