Treffer: Person-centred care for dementia patients (front-end mobile app)
Weitere Informationen
Dementia care presents complex challenges that require coordinated, person-centred solutions across multiple stakeholders. The Person-Centred Care (PEAR) system is a multi-platform digital solution developed to support caregivers and healthcare professionals in delivering personalised dementia care. The platform comprises both a web application and mobile application, designed to streamline the management of patient information, daily activities and clinical data to improve efficiency and continuity of care. The main objective of this Final Year Project (FYP) is to migrate, redesign and enhance the PEAR mobile application to align with the project’s new modular FastAPI microservice architecture. This involves integrating new API clients, redesigning and re-implementing core modules such as User, Patient and Scheduler, and ensuring data synchronisation and interoperability between the different services. In addition, the project also emphasises improving the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) through interface refinement, new feature implementation and performance optimisation. These developments collectively aim to strengthen the application’s functionality, responsiveness and accessibility for its end users. Through these deliverables, the project enhances the mobile application’s scalability, reliability and maintainability while establishing a robust and extensible foundation for future development. Ultimately, this phase of the PEAR project supports the broader vision of building a sustainable and person-centred digital healthcare ecosystem grounded in the principles of Person-Centred Care (PCC), hence improving both caregiving efficiency and overall well-being of patients. ; Bachelor's degree
