Treffer: Let’s Talk about Diversity: A Content Analysis of School Library Collection Development Policies.

The article discusses research which examined the extent that collection development policies of school libraries across nine counties in Illinois address diversity. Topics include the communal and personal benefits of diverse books, information on outsider authorship, the number of school libraries within the sample region that have publicly accessible collection development policies and results showing the lack of transparency and identification of two additional types of policies.
