Treffer: Java Security: Issues and Implications for Library and Archival Systems.
Weitere Informationen
As a computer programming language, Java has advantages over other languages in a number of aspects. For library and archival systems, two advantages of Java are worth noting: Java's capabilities for processing distributed information resources and for providing executable Web contents. Although there has been no report on attacks to library and archival system servers or to library users who loaded applets from library Web servers, security issues exist for Java programs. This article delineates attendant security concerns and outlines measures which system administrators may use to address them. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
