Treffer: Teaching Java with Robots and Artificial Life.
Weitere Informationen
This paper investigates the use of simulated robots and an artificial life simulation in the teaching of Java to first year students. The views of first year students were sought on how these environments compared with the more traditional approach that had been used previously. The results show that significant advantages could arise from using such approaches, particularly in terms of enhancing student interest in programming. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
