Treffer: Designing hypothetical learning trajectory for lines and angles using Central Java traditional house context.
Weitere Informationen
This study aims to develop a learning trajectory to help students understand the material and be motivated to learn. This study used the context of a traditional house used as a starting point and learning resource. The method used was design research developed by Gravemeijer & Cobb with three main steps: preparing for the experiment, design experiment (pilot experiment and teaching experiment), and retrospective analysis. This study involved 7th- grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Juwana who carried out activities according to the Indonesia Realistic Mathematics Education. The learning trajectory with the context of a traditional house in Central Java consists of a series of learning processes in 4 activities, namely observing the context of a traditional house to understand the concept of lines and angles, inferring line position, finding the properties of angles on parallel lines that intersect other lines, and solving the problem of lines and angles. This article only presents the first stage of design research, which is preparing for the experiment to provide a detailed explanation in the early stage of learning design and are ready and feasible to be tested in the design experiment stage.
