The transition to online education, driven by global challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, has reshaped learning environments by offering increased accessibility and flexibility. However, this shift has also revealed significant challenges, particularly in student adaptability to online learning formats. This study explores factors influencing adaptability using the students_adaptability_level_online_education.csv dataset, encompassing 256 observations and 14 categorical variables, including demographics, technological access, and educational context. Results indicate that most students demonstrate moderate or low adaptability, with no significant differences between genders. Internet access plays a crucial role, as students using Wi-Fi exhibit higher adaptability compared to those relying on mobile data, whose limited connectivity negatively impacts learning engagement. Device usage further influences adaptability, with computers providing a stable learning environment and tablets offering a balanced experience. Conversely, mobile devices present notable barriers, often associated with lower adaptability. By leveraging Python for data analysis and visualization, this article identifies key insights that emphasize the importance of equitable access to stable internet, reliable devices, and targeted strategies to enhance adaptability.
